These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Arctic Ebikes products and services, including purchases made through arcticebikes.com. By accessing our website or purchasing any product from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Website Use

Product images are provided for illustration purposes only and may differ slightly from the final product.

Hub motor kits are designed for bicycles with open-slotted dropouts only.

Our motor kits are not compatible with thru-axle or closed-dropout frame designs.

It is the customer's responsibility to verify compatibility, sizing, and fitment before placing an order.
Arctic Ebikes accepts no responsibility for products purchased that are incompatible with the customer's bicycle or intended application.
3. Legal Use & Compliance
Some products sold by Arctic Ebikes may exceed the legal power or speed limits applicable to electrically assisted bicycles in certain regions.
Unless otherwise stated, products are intended for use on private land, closed courses, or off-road environments only.
Customers are solely responsible for:

Understanding and complying with local laws and regulations.

Ensuring their bicycle complies with road-use requirements where applicable.

Operating products safely and legally.
Arctic Ebikes accepts no liability for unlawful use of its products.
4. Installation & User Responsibility
E-bike conversion kits, batteries, controllers, and electrical systems require technical knowledge and experience to install correctly.
Professional installation by a qualified e-bike technician, licensed electrician, auto electrician, or experienced mechanic is strongly recommended.
To maintain warranty eligibility, products must be installed correctly and safely according to supplied instructions.
The following may result in damage, injury, reduced performance, or warranty exclusion:

Wiring errors

Improper voltage pairing

Use of incompatible third-party components

Modifications or alterations
-
Failure to follow installation instructions
Additional installation requirements:

Torque arms must be fitted and used at all times.

Products are water-resistant but are not waterproof.

Products should not be exposed to flooding, pressure washing, prolonged heavy rain, or submersion.
Customers who choose to install products themselves do so entirely at their own risk and accept full responsibility for the installation and operation of the product.
Please Note: Warranty coverage may be denied where damage is found to be caused by improper installation or unsafe setup practices.
5. Battery Fitment Disclaimer
Battery dimensions and measurements are provided within product descriptions and product images.
It is the customer's responsibility to carefully compare these measurements against their bicycle frame before purchasing.
Due to variations between manufacturers, frame designs, frame angles, tubing dimensions, and model years, Arctic Ebikes cannot guarantee battery compatibility with any specific bicycle.
We are not responsible for batteries, battery bags, or mounting systems that do not fit a customer's bicycle.
Before installing any battery or battery bag, all bottle cage mounting bolts must be removed if they may interfere with the battery housing.
Failure to remove bottle cage bolts can result in:

Battery casing damage

Excessive wear
-
Punctures
-
Safety risks
Damage resulting from improper fitment or failure to remove bottle cage bolts is not covered under warranty.
6. Battery Safety
For your safety:

Never use a damaged battery or charger.

Immediately discontinue use if a battery becomes excessively hot, emits unusual odours, swells, leaks, or shows signs of damage.

Never attempt to open, repair, modify, or tamper with a battery.
-
Do not leave batteries unattended while charging.
-
Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.
Any modification, tampering, disassembly, or misuse of a battery will immediately void warranty coverage.
All charging, storage, and use of batteries is undertaken entirely at the customer's own risk.
7. Refunds, Returns & Warranty

Refunds, returns, or exchanges are not available for change of mind, incorrect selection, buyer error, or change of circumstances.

Replacement products or warranty support are only available for verified manufacturing defects.

Warranty claims must be supported by clear photos, videos, and any information requested during the assessment process.

Customers should report suspected faults as soon as reasonably possible after discovery.

Products may need to be returned for inspection before any warranty decision is made.

8. Lost, Stolen & Missing Deliveries
Once an order has been shipped, delivery responsibility rests with the shipping carrier.
If tracking information confirms a parcel has been delivered but it cannot be located, customers must contact the shipping carrier directly to lodge an investigation or claim.
Arctic Ebikes is not responsible for:

Lost packages after delivery confirmation

Stolen parcels
-
Packages delivered to an incorrect location by the carrier

Missing items where tracking shows successful delivery
Refunds, replacements, or compensation will not be provided for parcels that are marked as delivered by the carrier.
9. Limitation of Liability
All Arctic Ebikes products are used entirely at the customer's own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arctic Ebikes shall not be liable for:

Riders should always wear appropriate protective equipment, including a helmet and suitable riding gear.
